Thanks @msjulesfit for making us this recipe one night. It’s now on our monthly rotation because it’s so easy, tasty and healthy! Lots of healthy fats and flavor. We have it with salad, rice, or sweet potatoes and veggies. It’s so versatile and makes great leftovers.

1lb salmon
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
3 + cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup crushed pistachios
Salt and pepper to taste

Rinse and pat dry your salmon fillet. Cut slits on top to soak in the flavor. Line on parchment paper and heat oven to 375.

Mix the marinade ingredients together. Oil, lemon, Dijon, honey, and garlic. Pour over the salmon and add crushed pistachios on top.

Bake for 17 minutes, remove and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy! The best part is this is it’s pre-cleanse approved! 💚

BiMMM Bop Bowls! 10 minute meal! It’s the day before Thanksgiving and I’ve been cooking all day getting ready for tomorrow. I needed a fast but healthy meal. This one is a crowd favorite!

1 Lb organic ground Turkey
3/4 cup island soyaki from @traderjoes
2 green onions, slivered
1 pack Trader Joe’s organic frozen rice
2 fried eggs
Traders siracha
Traders green dragon sauce

This meal only takes 10 minutes to cook but I did marinate the turkey for 30 minutes in @traderjoeslist island soyaki sauce and the white parts of green onion. Then I heated the turkey on the stove top for 5-7 minutes until cooked. While that was cooking I made the traders frozen rice in the microwave, I always have this as backup when I need rice in a pinch (although I prefer to cook my own, today has been hectic prepping for TG). Then I fried an egg. I layered the rice, Turkey meat, a fried egg, added the green onion tops, and drizzled with siracha and green dragon sauce. All found at Trader Joe’s! Can’t beat that 10 minute meal! Enjoy! And highly recommend listening to Hanson while you make it! 💚💚💚

Easiest Homemade Lasagna. While this isn’t “precleanse approved” it’s a delicious easy meal for you to enjoy on a chilly day. You don’t have to add ricotta but my hubby loves ricotta so I do it for him. It also makes great leftovers.

Use 2 package of organic or gluten-free ravioli (use your fave)

1 jar marinara

1lb organic ground meat of choice or use veggies
(I use turkey)

Optional couple dabbles of ricotta

3/4 cup fresh Parmesan for topping

Brown meat slightly then add sauce to make meat moist and not clumpy

Layer sauce, raviolis, meat sauce, ricotta, more raviolis, rest of meat sauce, one more layer ravioli, marinara and parm. Bake 30 minutes at 350 and enjoy!

Let’s talk food restrictions & gut health!
First of all, I don’t really restrict anything particular in my diet. I’m not always vegan, gluten free or a vegetarian. I don’t like to eat crappy processed food, but sometimes a chemical food might make its way into my mouth. Now you might say “wait, wtf?!” Aren’t you all About cutting certain foods out of your diet for a cleanse?

Well, that’s a good question, and yes, for the purpose of a cleanse we restrict certain things but in everyday life, with a little more info below, we can have more fun! But first, let’s ask ourselves “Why are We Cleansing?” Weight gain, feeling lethargic, food addiction? What is your main reason?

Whether you know it or not, I’ll bet it has something to do with your gut health. The purpose of the cleanse is to help heal and repair the gut. Weight-loss is usually just one of the many added benefits people see from cleansing. But more importantly what we are Doing here is cleaning the gut.

Why is this important? Because cleansing the gut is how you can literally eat whatever you want! So by healing the gut with a whole food diet, or cleanse, and continuing to eat clean, you will heal your gut and yes, you can have a Dessert at a party and your not going to derail yourself completely. But if your gut is not right and you’re adding chocolate cake everyday, we’ll that’s a recipe for disaster. So it’s not about eating this or eating that for the rest of your life. It’s about healing your gut so that you can enjoy life’s pleasures.

Eat a diet mainly consisting of REAL Whole Foods; fruits and veggies, whole grains (quinoa, rice, organic wheat), lean proteins, lots and lots of water, less or no alcohol, and less processed foods. By real food I mean food that has no additives and probably isn’t packaged. If you follow this 80/20 rule your gut will be indestructible and you’ll never have to “restrict” any foods ever again.

LIQUID FOR BREAKFAST! If you’ve been following me for years, you already know how important NOT eating breakfast is.⁣

But if you’re new to this concept, maybe you’re thinking, “Wait. I thought breakfast was the most important meal of the day.”⁣

Now, I don’t wanna suggest that your mom didn’t know what she was talking about when you were a kid. Without doubt, eating nutrient-dense foods like fruit and eggs is important for a developing brain and body.⁣

However, now that you’re an adult, your metabolism might be starting to slow down. And one reason why might not have anything to do with your age. Rather, it’s the fact that your body has a high toxic load. In other words, your detoxification organs such as the liver can’t clear toxins out more quickly than they accumulate.⁣

There are several reasons why toxic overload occurs. For example, heavy metals can accumulate in your body. There’s pesticides from the food supply and harsh chemicals in skin care products, hair care products and household cleaners.⁣

So what does this have to do with not eating food for breakfast and instead only having liquids when it’s time to break your fast?⁣

The answer is that by not eating food, you’re giving your body a longer time to detoxify.⁣

So you know we had to mix up a sweet vegan treat for you all. This recipe is so easy and delicious. Enjoy all summer long ☀️

Peaches and cream smoothie (serves 2)
1 cup filtered water
1/4 cup cashews
1 cup peaches (I prefer frozen)
1 pinch of cinnamon (trust me!)
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp vanilla pea protein
1 cup ice

Blend the water and cashews first for 1 minute. Then add peaches, cinnamon, pea protein, honey and ice. Blend for 1 minute serve and enjoy. And make sure you listen to this song that I don’t own the rights to “peaches and cream”! It really gets you in the mood 🍑 🧡 Cheers to your health!
