I learned how to make Genep - Balinese Curry Paste and recipes that use it. I learned so much from my teacher “I Dhono” (sounds like; I dunno, in English slang). He was so informative and we laughed and exchanged chef secrets. I taught him some things as well, believe it or not! The completed meal is in the photo - almost all of my Balinese recipes use this very useful curry paste. https://chefvblog.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/2018/01/chefv-tab-recipe-300pcacaca.jpg

  • ½ tsp. dried coriander
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. fresh red chili (adjust to your preference)
